She has created hundreds of printed fabrics for the Interior Design trade, and Home Furnishings accessories market. Her work has been featured in trade and shelter magazines, such as Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Textiles Today, and Interior Design Magazine, as well as in hard cover Interior Design books in the UK and France. Her printed mural panels have appeared as backdrops in feature films and indie movies.

Joan and Karen also created Saloomey Editions to showcase a collection of museum-quality limited edition Giclee prints, featuring a collection of Joan’s paintings and textile designs.
