Drinking the Moon

The moon light softly touches me
basking in light against the darkness

Showering in the beams to cleanse
letting it kiss the skin with purity

Body drinking of moonshine nights
and in simple tastes, to be alive

Swallowing the after glow of its light
being filled and complete in it

Letting its mystic drawing power, stir
to alter and rise the tides inside me

In oneness with the moon and dancing
creating the shadows of the moment

Wishing on stars, their seductive magic
to bring desires of unlimited pleasure
